Running on Empty

Here’s one of my recent videos for the AFP Foundation. For more info about the Running on Empty tour, check this out.

Video: Throw Stuff at People With Whom You Disagree

Over the weekend I attended and filmed at Americans for Prosperity Foundation’s RightOnline conference in Minneapolis. One newsworthy moment occurred when a liberal activist tried (and failed) to throw glitter on U.S. Rep. Michele Bachmann as she ended her remarks on Saturday afternoon.

I happened to catch the attempt on tape, then ran down to interview the Glitter Girl after she was removed from the hotel by security.

Kudos, Glitter Girl! You really changed the world this weekend. Because what this country needs right now is less rational discourse and more people who throw stuff at elected officials with whom they disagree. You are a fine example of the maturity and logic of the Modern American Left!

Highlights from AFP-Michigan’s Day at the Capitol

A little highlight video I produced last week, filed under Shameless Self Promotion…

Greetings from Lansing, Michigan, where Big Labor activists seem to have a different idea of what qualifies as an “adult conversation.”

Video: EPA Wants to Treat Spilled Milk Like Toxic Waste

My latest video for NFIB – you should watch if for no other reason than the fact that I got milk on my ceiling while filming this one.

Video: 17 Stories

After a business trip to Tallahassee last week, I decided to take a couple of days to check out the nearby Panhandle beaches for the first time. As soon as I saw the view from my rental condo’s balcony 17 stories above Destin, I noticed how many different human stories were playing out right below me (and in some cases, directly at eye level.)

I immediately challenged myself to produce a video shooting just from the balcony and using only my Canon 60D DSLR camera. The video is embedded below, but it’s best viewed full screen. Now – back to work!

ObamaCare One Year Later: How’s It Going?

This week marks the one-year anniversary of the passage of Obamacare, so the small-business group NFIB recently sent me to Ohio to ask some of their members just how last year’s promises are panning out. Here’s the video I produced for them:

Reagan on Small Business

As we celebrate President Reagan’s 100th birthday, here’s a short video I produced for one of my clients, NFIB. The video shows highlights from Reagan’s 1983 speech commemorating NFIB’s 40th anniversary. Nearly 30 years after it was delivered, it’s amazing how relevant Reagan’s remarks remain today.

Video: Bureaucrats Gone Wild in Cancun

Greetings from Cancun, Mexico, where I’m covering the UN Global Warming Summit for Americans for Prosperity. Yeah – I know – tough gig.

Anyway, my first video from Cancun is below. It’s the first one I’ve produced that includes footage from my new Canon 60D DSLR – the shallow depth of field and clarity in low light really is impressive.

Video: Proud Socialists March in DC

Here’s the latest Frank Strategies viral video, filmed at Saturday’s liberal “One Nation” rally in DC. The video has collected more than 110,000 views in just about 36 hours, and as I write this it is the 28th-most-viewed YouTube video in the world over the past 24 hours.

As you know, if one random guy shows up at a tea party with a Obama-as-Hitler poster, Nancy Pelosi and the national media claim that hoards of angry conservatives are “waving swastikas.”

But when literally hundreds, if not thousands, of avowed socialists show up at a rally that was specifically endorsed by President Obama, the media doesn’t mention a thing. Not one word.

God Bless the YouTube.
